What makes our Hobart store special?
For more than 70 years Tasmanians have trusted their vision to Total Eyecare. At our Macquarie Street practice we have invested in the latest advanced technology, including OCT, wide fields camera, visual fields machine, and digital retinal photography to provide you with a comprehensive analysis of the health of your eyes.
We love being independent
Total Eyecare is an amalgamation of several independent practices. Since our beginnings in 1946, independence has been valued by all our owner Optometrists as it allows us to make the best clinical decisions for you. Independence allows us to choose our lens, contact lens and frame suppliers without restriction. Having access to all the best quality products for our patients is why we remain proudly independent. As fierce Tasmanians, we also contribute to our local community by employing locals and supporting our local economy.
