What makes our Sandy Bay store special?
Sandy Bay is the second-oldest of all Total Eyecare practices with a focus on high quality eyewear and the latest testing technology, including retinal photography and visual fields testing. We are proudly locally owned and operated by the Optometrists who work in our practices. Total Eyecare remains committed to serving our local community through highly personalised and thorough eye care.
We love being independent
Total Eyecare is an amalgamation of several independent practices. Since our beginnings in 1946, independence has been valued by all our owner Optometrists as it allows us to make the best clinical decisions for you. Independence allows us to choose our lens, contact lens and frame suppliers without restriction. Having access to all the best quality products for our patients is why we remain proudly independent. As fierce Tasmanians, we also contribute to our local community by employing locals and supporting our local economy.
