Hayley is a Senior Clinical Optometrist who graduated with honours from QUTs School of Optometry in 2006, and since then has gained extensive optometric experience working in various locations around the country and world. After working in private practice in rural Queensland, Hayley joined the team at Total Eyecare in 2015, when she and her family relocated to Southern Tasmania.
Hayley is a therapeutically qualified optometrist, able to prescribe ocular medication for the management of eye diseases, including infections, inflammatory conditions, glaucoma and dry eye syndrome. She enjoys all aspects of her profession, loves getting to know people and has special interests in ocular diseases and therapeutics, children’s vision and contact lenses.
Hayley has travelled both within Australia and abroad as part of volunteer medical teams serving community eyecare needs. Hayley’s three young children keep her busy outside work, and their interests include travelling, ocean swimming, hiking and bike riding.
Hayley practices at multiple locations, mainly Huonville and Kingston.
