Colin McKenzie first graduated in optometry in 1987 from the University of Caledonia in Glasgow, Scotland. Shortly after he moved to Tasmania and began practicing optometry in both Hobart and Devonport. Colin then carried out locum work establishing his own practice in a specialist medical centre. In the early 90′s, he went on to establish Eyelines and was involved in the Tasmanian Eye Clinics, as well as Low Vision Clinics for the visually impaired.
Colin McKenzie has a particular interest in fitting RGP contact lens for keratoconus, a challenging but equally rewarding expertise.
Colin trained in the UK and joined the Total Eyecare group in 2010 and he remains a passionate and caring practitioner. Colin’s clinical skills and personal style ensures he is always in high demand at both our Kingston and Howrah practices.
